I found Beachbody at time when I was desperate to find something that would work for me. I had failed previously for many reasons – but the main reason is that I had no one to hold me accountable. That accountability factor makes ALL the difference.
My first program was Hammer & Chisel – let’s just say that I was ready to take on the world! It took me a couple of weeks to get the program down, but once I did, I was on fire!
I remember taking my “before” pic. I think I took about 30 because I was so embarrassed by how I looked. I quickly filed the photo away and started my journey.
My nutrition game got an overhaul – I added Shakeology to my daily regimen, and instantly I felt better.
H&C was a perfect combo program for me. The mix of weight training and cardio was exactly what I needed.
If I hadn’t taken before pics, I probably would have been discouraged. I remember looking at myself in the mirror around Day 30, and thinking that I had wasted my time. How could I have worked so hard and not had any results? THANKFULLY, I took those pics.
What’s CRAZY, is that my weight didn’t change. NOPE! I started at 142 and ended at 142.
It’s not about that number, it’s about how you feel, and how those clothes fit.
